Grief Support Resources
Every person must cope with loss of a loved on his or her own terms.
The emotional upheaval these trying times can cause is sometimes so overwhelming that even the support of friends and family may not help relieve the amount of sadness and grief you feel. Here are a few resources that might be helpful:
McPherson Bereavement Group
This group is sponsored by The Cedars and Hospice & Homecare of Reno County. A new session is starting October 1. The group meets weekly on Thursdays at 1:30 PM in the Meditation Chapel at the Cedars Conference Center (1021 Cedars Drive). The group will meet for approximately 11 weeks and will be facilitated by Chris Whitacre using a curriculum developed by renowned grief expert, Dr. Alan Wofelt.
