Wilma Johnson

Wilma F. Johnson, 72, of Little River and formerly of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was a retired Certified Nurse Aid and had worked at The Homestead Assisted Living in Topeka.

She was born August 31, 1940 in Tontitown, Arkansas, the daughter of Roy and Othel (White) Norton. She attended McPherson High School and graduated from Topeka Technical College. Wilma was a member of Westridge Baptist Church in Topeka.

Survivors include: three daughters, Connie Bennett (David Oakes) of Hillrose, CO; Eileen Tomlinson of Evans, CO; and Beverly Dultmeier (Kirk) of Topeka, KS; two sisters, Nada Ebeling and Marie Hansen, both of Little River, KS; four brothers, Ray Norton of Marquette, KS, Travis Norton of Mount Pleasant, TX, Gene Norton of Winnsboro, TX, and Kendall Norton of McPherson, KS; seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorine Hurdle and Reba Hamilton, and a brother Charles Norton.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2013, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
