Wendell Hunt

Wendell Dean Hunt, 73, of McPherson and formerly of Phillipsburg, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at The Cedars, McPherson. He had been a McPherson resident since July of 2009 and from 1978 to 1990. He was retired from Farmland Industries where he worked as a warehouseman.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A private inurnment of the cremains will be in the McPherson Cemetery at a later date. An additional memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

His survivors include: wife, Phyllis C. Hunt of McPherson, KS (now deceased, died on Feb. 21, 2010); daughter, Kathy J. Hawkinson and husband, Jeff, of McPherson, KS; brother, Paul Hunt and wife, Donna, of Phillipsburg, KS; sister, Norma Allison and husband, Orlis, of Phillipsburg, KS; son-in-law, Brent Koehn of McPherson, KS; four grandchildren, Justin and Jami Hawkinson and Luke and Wendi Koehn, all of McPherson, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jamie R. and O. Zelva (Corley) Hunt, and a daughter, Pat Koehn.
