Velma Liscum

Velma Liscum, 99, of McPherson and formerly of Geneseo, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked at hospitals in Lyons, Ellsworth, and Little River.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 28, at the Church of Christ, McPherson. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: three daughters, Doris Liscum of McPherson, Eleanor Porter and husband, Stan, of Little River, and Kay Liscum of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was precede in death by three brothers, three sisters, and two nephews.
