Sam Hoda

Sam P. Hoda, 82, of McPherson, died Monday, July 31, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital. He was retired from the NCRA Refinery where he worked as an operator in the R & F Unit.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, August 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Private burial, with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post 24 and VFW Post 2715, will be at McPherson Cemetery and will precede the memorial service. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Bernice of the home; a brother, Steve Hoda of Farmingdale, NY; a sister, Virginia Sielaff of South Huntington, NY; several nieces & nephews including Mark Kumle of Great Bend, KS, Monette DePew pf Pratt, KS, Mary Sjogren of Lindsborg, KS, Michael Kumle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Tracy Nelson of Lindsborg, KS; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
