Robert DeWild

Robert J. "Bob" DeWild, 60, of Viola, KS and formerly of McPherson, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was a Field Superintendent for Layne Western Water & Environmental Services.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 11, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Park, McPherson. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon of the home; sons, Rodney of Mulvane, KS, Mitchel of Wichita, KS, and Bradley; daughters, Tammy of North Platte, NE, Lisa of Rexburg, ID, Stephanie of Fort Mill, SC, Sandy of Belle Plaine, KS, and Sara of Clearwater, KS; mother, Josephine DeWild of McPherson; brothers, LeMayne, of Pacifica, WA, Kevin of Alamogordo, NM, Leland of McPherson, and Virgil of McPherson; sisters, Wava Duncan of Mound City, MO, Valerie Erickson of McPherson, KS, and Valissa Taggart of Clovis, NM; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lloyd, and his father, Clarence.
