Richard Schulz

Richard G. "Dick" Schulz, 77, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was a McPherson resident since 1958, formerly of Canton. He retired in 1991 from the NCRA Refinery where he worked as a leaderman in the welding shop.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 1, at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Virginia of the home; three sons, Douglas Schulz and wife, Gail, of McPherson, Stanley Schulz and wife, Kathy, of McPherson, and Rick Schulz and wife, Kathy, of McPherson; a daughter, Debra Williams of McPherson; three brothers, Harold Schulz and wife, Doris, of Fallbrook, CA, Criss Schulz and wife, Joan, of Wichita, KS, and Roger Schulz and wife, Gerri, of Canton, KS; two sisters, Virginia Tolle and husband, Bill, of Temecula, CA and Carolyn Moddlemog and husband, Keith, of Beaumont, CA; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Dick was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Dean Schulz.
