Norma Decker

Norma D. Decker, 74, of Galva, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Via Christi - St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. She was a homemaker and lifetime Galva resident.

She was born October 12, 1938, in McPherson, the daughter of John C. and Edith V. (Johnson) Alexander. She graduated from Galva High School in 1956.

On April 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Larry W. Decker at the Galva United Methodist Church.

Norma was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church in McPherson.

Survivors include: husband, Larry of the home; a daughter, Michelle King (Sammie) of Galva, KS; sons, Michael Decker (Saundra) of San Antonio, TX and Matthew Decker (Sheryl) of Bartlesville, OK; brothers, Robert Alexander (Bonnie) of Salina, KS and Eldon Alexander (Jody) of Galva, KS; sister, Donna Clark (Vernon) of Bartlesville, OK; grandchildren, Edie Perez (Roger), Emilie Schulz (Michael), Ellie King, Christopher Decker (Leah), Carley Decker, Cassidy Decker, Jaci Decker, Braxton Decker, and Lilly Decker; and five great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 14, at Countryside Covenant Church. Pastor John Stultz and Pastor Jon Black will officiate the service. Burial at Empire Cemetery in Galva will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, prior to the memorial service. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
