Nadola Tucker

Nadola A. Tucker, 87, of McPherson passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Loving Care of McPherson. She was a homemaker.

Nadola was born on May 19, 1922, in Cherokee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Osborne) Schwint. She graduated from Wichita North High School. On May 4, 1940, she was united in marriage to John I. Tucker. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1992.

Nadola was a member of the First Christian Church, McPherson.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Driftwood Christian Church (Driftwood, Oklahoma). Burial will be in the Byron-Amorita Cemetery (Amorita, Oklahoma). Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: sons, Charles Tucker, DDS and wife, Jane, of Alva, OK and David Tucker and wife, Jo, of Bartlesville, OK; daughters, Priscilla Smith and husband, Larry, of McPherson, KS and Melinda Turner and husband, Michael, of El Dorado, KS; son-in-law, Bob Hein of McPherson, KS; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Suzy Tucker, and a grandson, Monte Tucker.
