Mildred Gibson

Mildred Florene (Bacon) Gibson went to be with her Savior May 24, 2012, at Heartland Haven, Inman, KS. She was born April 14, 1926, in Hunter, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter and Theresa (Kunard) Bacon. While working at Flago's restaurant in McPherson, KS, she met the love of her life, Willard L. Gibson. They were united in marriage February 23, 1947, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro KS. Two daughters were born to this union, Dianna Gale and Shelly Lynn. She was employed by J C Penney's, Starlight Lanes Restaurant, and Harold's "Cozy Inn" cafe until her retirement.
