Matthew Rex Halsey, 27, of Moundridge, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at his home in Moundridge. He had worked as an X-Ray pipeline technician at Coder Welding & X-Ray since January 2007.

Matthew was born on October 15, 1983, in Amarillo, TX. He was a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 30, 2011, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Matt D. Stafford officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the Windom Cemetery.

Survivors include: parents, Ed & Julie Zeller of Inman, KS and Mark Halsey of Claude, TX; children, Brody & Kinder Halsey, and fiancée, Korina, of the home; son, Brody Halsey of the home; daughter, Kinder Halsey of the home; sisters, Michelle Johannsen of Amarillo, TX, Jayce Zeller of Inman, KS, and Tanni Zeller of Inman, KS; brother, Zeke Zeller of Inman, KS; step-sisters, Tiffani (Chris) Rankin of Hutchinson, KS, Cassie Zeller of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jocie Zeller of Hutchinson, KS; grandparents, Gerald & Carol McGuire of Hutchinson, KS; Tom & Sharon Zeller of Hutchinson, KS; and many aunts, uncles, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Marion & Anna Belle (Muz) Halsey.
