Mary Nelson

Mary R. Nelson, 85, died Friday, February 07, 2003, at The Cedars Health Care Center. She was a homemaker and had been a McPherson resident since 1936.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 11, at the Church of the Brethren, McPherson. A private family committal service will take place at McPherson Cemetery prior to the memorial service. Visitation is from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Lewis of the home; her son, Charles Nelson of Rio Rancho, NM; four daughters, Myrna Eis of McPherson, Laurel Williams of Glenwood Springs, CO, Mary Caruthers of McPherson, and Mabel Friesen of McPherson; a brother, William Stonebraker of Bakersfield, CA; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
