Marlin Vaughn Becker, 56, of Lindsborg and formerly of McPherson, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011, at Via Christi/St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. He was a machinist at American Maplan in McPherson, working there for over 23 years.

He was born October 17, 1955, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Theodore Tobias and Evelyn Jenny (Moulds) Becker. He attended the local schools and graduated from McPherson High School in 1973.

Survivors include: a son, Travis Becker of Augusta, Kansas; a daughter, Teri Chrislip (Keith) of Olathe, KS; two brothers, Mike Becker (Anita) of Poquoson, VA and Mitchell Becker (Suzanne) of Moundridge, KS; a sister, Cheryl Brandsted (John) of McPherson, KS; two grandchildren, Ashlynn Paige Becker and Finley Chrislip.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Evelyn.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 10, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
