Marjorie Simone

Marjorie E. (Lind) Simone, 81, of McPherson, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was a secretary for the National Coursing Association in Abilene, Kansas for over 20 years and also was co-owner of a lawn and garden store in Melbourne, Florida.

The memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 11, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery near Enterprise, Kansas. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: a daughter, Carol Simmons and husband, Leonard Ray, of Winter Garden, Florida; a son, Terry Klein and wife, Carole Drong, of Mystic, Connecticut; a brother, Wayne Lind of Yuma, AZ; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Lind, and a sister, Lois Dent.
