Larry Lynn Smith, 77, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Banner University Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Larry was a retired pharmacist and had owned & operated Raleigh’s Drug Store in McPherson.

Larry was born March 11, 1941, in Cherokee, OK, the son of Arthur Homer and Florence Elizabeth (Clutter) Smith. He graduated from Burlington (Oklahoma) High School and from Southwestern State University in Weatherford, OK. Larry was united in marriage to Priscilla Sue Tucker on July 28, 1963, in Byron, OK.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, McPherson Lodge #172 - A.F. & A.M., Isis Shrine, McPherson Shrine Club, Royal Order of Jesters Court #94, and the Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the boards of McPherson Main Street and the Park Department.

Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Priscilla of the home; two sons, Jason Smith (Annette) of Clay Center, KS and Justin Smith (Anne) of Fort Collins, CO; daughter, Jonna Corrigan (Craig) of McPherson, KS; brother, Wesley Smith (Beth) of Alva, OK; sister-in-law, Saundra Smith of Winfield, KS; and seven grandchildren, Taylor Ficke, Alex Smith, Cassidy Corrigan, Kellsie Corrigan, Emma Smith, Anna Smith, and Sara Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wilford Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 9, 2018, at the First Christian Church with Rev. Lynn Scott officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
