Larry K. Rickner, 61, of McPherson, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the former owner of Industrial Chrome Specialties, where he currently served as a consultant.

He was born October 18, 1952, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Norman L. and Mary Jane (Hardwick) Rickner. He attended the local schools and graduated from McPherson High School in 1970. On June 4, 1994, he married Gemma D. (Regier) Hollingsworth at Kanopolis Lake.

Larry was a member of First Christian Church, the Four-Stroke Single National Owners Club, and a life member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Survivors include: his wife, Gemma of the home; three daughters, Chandra Knowles (Brandon) of Wichita, KS, Lauren Hollingsworth of McPherson, and Blair Hollingsworth of Wichita, KS; three grandchildren, Vivian & Everett Knowles and Ronin Przymus; his mother, Mary Jane Rickner of McPherson; a sister, Norma Sue Rockenbach (Rocky) of Derby, KS; father in-law & mother-in-law, Kenneth & Estelle Regier of Galva, KS; a sister-in-law, Teresa Unruh (Charles) of Canton, KS; brothers-in-law, Scott Regier (Bonnie) of Bethany, OK and Troy Regier (Debbie) of Canton, KS; and nephew, Mark Colby and grandniece, Karyss Colby, both of Derby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman, a sister, Charlene Rickner, and a nephew, Matt Colby.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, April 7, 2014, at the First Christian Church with Rev. Terry Post officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Memorial donations are suggested to Wheatland Baptist Church, First Christian Church, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N.
