Larry Miller

Larry K. Miller, 59, of Rapid City, SD, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008, at his home in Rapid City. He was born January 7, 1949, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Leonard L. and Lois M. (Hufferd) Miller. He was a resident of Rapid City, SD since 1995, formerly of McPherson. He was a sales clerk for a wholesale plumbing supplier in Rapid City. While he was living in McPherson, he was a supervisor for MidTec.

Larry graduated from McPherson High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson, The American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson. Burial with full military honors will be at the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday with Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family will be present from 6:00 PM until the conclusion of the Rosary.

His survivors include: his mother, Lois Miller of McPherson, KS; brothers, Leonard "Lenny" Miller of McPherson, KS, Ronald Miller of Rapid City, SD, Kevin Miller of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mark Miller of McPherson, KS; sisters, Mary Beavers of Republican City, NE, Susan Miller of San Marcos, CA, Lisa Willett of Hastings, NE, and Judy Harris of Ingalls, KS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard L. Miller.
