Kevin Wilborn

Kevin R. Wilborn, 49, of Wichita and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012, surrounded by his family at his home in Wichita. He had been a resident of Wichita since 1990 and owned and operated Jade Pools.

Kevin was born March 9, 1963, in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Richard E. and Pamela S. (Willson) Wilborn. He was a graduate of McPherson High School (1981) and Kansas State University. On August 6, 1988, he was united in marriage to Anita R. Brandt in McPherson, KS.

He was a member of the Chapel Hill Fellowship United Methodist Church, Wichita, where he served on the Board of Trustees. He was also a member of the Albert Pike Masonic Lodge, Wichita and Pheasants Forever.

Survivors include: his wife, Anita of the home; children, Jackson and Annie Wilborn, both of the home; parents, Rick & Pam Wilborn of McPherson, KS; brother, Brady Wilborn and wife, Sarah, of Andover, KS; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Eugene & Ruth Brandt of McPherson, KS.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday March 31, 2012, at Chapel Hill Fellowship United Methodist Church, Wichita with Rev. Jeff Gannon officiating. A private inurnment will be on Friday, March 30, at McPherson Cemetery.
