Judith J. Koehn

Judith “Judy” J. Koehn, 68, of Moundridge, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018, surrounded by family at Harry Hynes Hospice Center, Wichita, KS. She was a retired hospice nurse, working for hospice and home health organizations in Versailles, MO and Merced County, CA.

Judy was born on October 7, 1949, in Scott City, KS, the daughter of Ben H. and Lydia (Unruh) Koehn. She received her degree in nursing from Bethel College. Judy was united in marriage to Vernon Keith Koehn on June 14, 1970, in Scott City, KS.

She was a member of Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.

Survivors include: husband, Vernon of the home; children, Jennifer Koehn-Gordon and husband, Shane, of North Port, FL and Ben Koehn and wife, Ann, of Moundridge, KS; brother, Richard Koehn of Versailles, MO; and seven grandchildren, Skylar, Shane, Jr., Paiton, Easton, and Jase Gordon, and Jacob and Nicole Koehn.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Victor Koehn; sisters, Marlene Koehn and Bonnie Koehn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Clara Koehn; and sister-in-law, Deloris Koehn.

The visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 19, 2018, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Inman, KS, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 20, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Burial will follow at Zion Church Cemetery.
