James Janusz

James W. Janusz, 64, of McPherson, passed away Friday, January 18, at his home in McPherson. He was a materials handler at Viega in McPherson. He was born May 24, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter J. and Doris M. (Hayden) Janusz. He had been a McPherson resident since 1998, formerly of Mesa, Arizona.

On December 31, 1997, he married June M. Galarneau in Mesa, Arizona.

Survivors include: his wife, June of the home; a son, James G. Janusz of McPherson, KS; a daughter, Tonya J. Janusz of Mesa, AZ; a step-son, William Rafiner of Jones, OK; two step-daughters, Michelle Payton of Kearny, AZ and Angie LaRose of St. Johns, AZ; three brothers, Joe, Kenny, and Larry Janusz, all of Arizona; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2013, at Jerry Ivey Park in Salina.
