Harry Koehn

Harry Koehn, 90, of McPherson, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at his home. Harry was born on February 21, 1919, in Las Animas, Colorado, the son of Samuel J. and Carolyn Koehn. On May 25, 1946, he was united in marriage to Edna Buehler in McPherson, Kansas. He was a retired mechanic and had worked at several McPherson auto dealerships including Sid Bacon Motors, Ken Goering Motors, and Marshall-Turner Chevrolet.

Mr. Koehn was a U.S Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater of Operations.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, at McPherson Cemetery. A private visitation will be held prior to the service.

Survivors include: his wife, Edna of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Reuben, Cecil, Ben, and Ervin, and three sisters, Malinda Koehn, Susie Moore, and Minnie Koehn.
