Harold Chilson

Harold G. "Jack" Chilson, 76, of McPherson, died Thursday, April 12, 2007. He was a Computer Operations Manager for Farmers Alliance Insurance Co., retiring in 1995 after 40 years. He also was a house painter.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 16, at McPherson Cemetery. Military burial honors will be conducted by VFW Post #2715 and American Legion Post #24. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Survivors include: four daughters, Diane Read of San Diego, CA, Cynthia Swenson of McPherson, KS, Joyce Wilson of McPherson, KS, and Pamela Pleasanton of Augusta, WV; two brothers, Elwood "Skeeter" Chilson of McPherson, KS and Art Chilson of Novato, CA; his companion, Willis Freeman of McPherson, KS; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lee (Sheets) Chilson in 1995 and a brother, Bill Chilson.
