Gordon Williams

Gordon S. "Mike" Williams, 75, of McPherson, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010, at his home in McPherson. He was a retired mechanic for Sears Automotive and security officer at Hutchinson Hospital. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Mike was born on April 23, 1935, in Clawson, Michigan, the son of Henry Oscar and Pearl Bernice (Isenberg) Williams. He graduated from high school in Clawson, Michigan.

Mike was a member of the American Legion Post #24.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 17, 2010, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wyatt Worden officiating. Interment will be at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Survivors include: companion, Miriam Worden of the home; son, Glenn M. Williams of New Braunfels, Texas; sisters, Trudy Nickell of Wichita, Kansas and Alice Clark of Lewistown, Montana; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Oscar and Pearl Bernice (Isenberg) Williams, wife, Norma Jean, and daughter, Joyce Kerschner.
