Clinton Koehn

Clinton Koehn, 50, of rural McPherson, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from injuries sustained in a truck accident near Windom, KS. He was a truck driver and also worked as a carpenter for Goertzen Homes in Inman.

He was born December 21, 1962, in Moundridge, KS, the son of Leonard and Justina (Goertzen) Koehn. He lived most of his life in Kansas except for 6½ years spent in Mississippi.

On June 22, 1986, he was united in marriage to Sara Gwen Schmidt in Clarksdale, MS.

Survivors include: his wife, Sara of the home; four children, Mindie Ensz (Nolan) of Buhler, KS, Skylar Koehn (Krista) of Marquette, KS; Ricky Koehn of the home, and Carlotta Koehn of the home; mother, Justina Koehn of Inman, KS; a granddaughter, Kalista Ensz of Buhler, KS; four brothers, Willard Koehn (Jennie) of Inman, KS, Clifford Koehn (Cheryl) on Inman, KS, Calvin Koehn (Lawanna) of Hazelton, ID, and Lyle Koehn (Margaret) of Hartwell, GA; three sisters, Arlene Toews (Lindley) of Elma, Manitoba, Canada, Lenora Dirks (Lance) of Rich Hill, MO, and Glenda Smith (Rodney) of Sedgwick, KS; father-in-law, Edward Schmidt of Livingston, CA; brother-in-law, Trent Schmidt (Brandy) of Clarksdale, MS; sisters-in-law, Christy Jantzen (Galen) of Glenn, CA, Mavis Frase (Chris) of Lobelville, TN, and Adrianne Solis of Inman, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, mother-in-law, Corene Schmidt, and brother-in-law, Samuel Solis.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Inman, KS. Burial will be in the Zion Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the church.
