Christopher Brooks

Christopher H. Brooks, 45, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. He was a carpenter and a painter.

Chris was born on April 20, 1967, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Gary Dee and Margaret Ann (Hazelton) Brooks.

Survivors include: his father, Gary Books and wife, Judy, of Tea, SD; step-brother, Shane Andersen of Brookings, SD; step-sister, Shari Andersen-Connor of Amherst, MA; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Hazelton, sister, Janel Embrey, and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
