Bettie Standafer

Bettie J. Standafer, 89, of Longmont, Colorado and formerly of McPherson, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at The Peaks Care Center in Longmont. She was a retired nurse's aide and social worker.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 1, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A second memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, at the Church of the Brethren in Worthington, Minnesota. Inurnment of the cremains will take place at the Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Worthington. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: two sons, Tim Standafer and wife, Rosario, of Belle Plaine, MN and Matt Standafer and wife, Lori, of Burnsville, MN; two daughters, Leslie Hochwender and husband, Dennis, of Longmont, CO and Lori Furth of New Ulm, MN; two sisters, Dollie Clark and husband, Ben, of McPherson and Orla Mae Brown and husband, Truett, of La Mesa, CA; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, a son, Dennis, two daughters, Leah Kingery and Lynn Gingrich, and a brother, Robert Woods.
